Court Duty Roles

Each school will be rostered for duty at least once during the winter season.  Schools who enter more teams will have additional duty days. Schools with volunteers on the committee will have fewer duty days. A link to the duty roster is on the righthand side of this webpage along with details of the duty tasks.

​​​​​​​Court Duty Tasks
Court Duty teams are rostered on for each half of the day's competition - below are approximate times depending on the number of games to be played:

• First shift = 8.30am - 11.15am
• Second shift = 11.15am until end of play (approximately 2.30pm)

Each Duty team shall provide two people to assist with the netball competition including setting up at the beginning of the day, administering the draw cards and looking after the hooters and stopwatch during the day, and tidying up at the end of the day.  Court Duty teams are to report to the Container at the beginning of their shift.  

NB: We recommend schools provide an extra person or two for the initial setup and end of day cleanup.

The BBQ is no longer operating at the courts on a Saturday (from Term 3 2021) so there is no separate BBQ/shop duty.
